Welcome to my author about page! I often joke that I am Tiffany’s foodie apprentice. I’ve been continually introduced to new restaurants and cuisine by my wife Tiffany who helps me with this blog. She is a real foodie, and I have been tagging along for the last six years.
My food experiences have dramatically elevated since we met and now I find myself seeking out the same food and restaurant experiences whether on vacation or at home in Chicagoland.
When we are not salivating over a restaurant menu or figuring out which craft beer we want to try next, we enjoy traveling. Tiffany was a world traveler before we met and even though our travels usually kick off with a plane ride, we have also road-tripped to Tennessee to visit Gatlinburg and one of my favorite cities where I attended college, Nashville.
One of my favorite trips was our honeymoon after we married in the fall of 2021. We had a fun time planning our honeymoon and had to jump a few hurdles for COVID-19 travel out of the country. Our dream honeymoon in St. Lucia was a blast, and we learned a lot about Caribbean vacations.
Would we go back to St. Lucia?
Travel has slowed down to a trickle for us lately with the arrival of our new baby boy, Bryce. He’s a blessing, and we are thankful he is happy and healthy. So far we have introduced him to some of our favorite local restaurants. Once he is a little older and has a passport, we plan to be back on the road. I’m sure his first stop will include ocean waves and soft sand. 😬 🏖️
As a travel and restaurant enthusiast, I have always been fascinated by the diverse cultures and cuisines of the world. Whether I am exploring a new city or trying out a new restaurant, I am constantly on the lookout for new experiences that will broaden my horizons and inspire my writing. I am excited to share my stories and insights with you. So come along with me on this journey, and let’s discover the world together!
