Tiffany and I enjoyed our time on our first visit to Sparkman Wharf so much that we had to stop by one more time before heading back home to Chicago. Don’t forget to take a photo by the fun, pink Tampa sign just outside Sparkman Wharf before you leave.

LightHaus Beer Garden is a popular addition to Tampa’s Sparkman Wharf culinary scene offering a unique blend of beer and a casual outdoor garden atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for those looking to relax, unwind and enjoy a refreshing brew or two. LightHaus anchors Sparkman Wharf at the center and opens up to the surrounding restaurants and live music stage.

LightHaus is a great first stop to enjoy a refreshing craft beer while you think over all your delicious food choices. After getting off the free Tampa trolly we grabbed a cold beer at LightHaus while we strategized which of these great restaurants to try first.

2. Edison’s Swigamajig
Edison’s Swigamajig offers patrons a unique and enjoyable dining experience. This casual seafood-oriented dive bar and fish kitchen serve their dishes in a no-frills bright orange shipping container, adding to the authentic and laid-back atmosphere.

Notable dishes include the piri piri conch fritters, black grouper sandwich, octopus salad, and the often-praised best fish and chips. Paired with the innovative ketchup slaw or the zesty curry tartar sauce, each dish leaves a lasting impression on diners.
Edison’s Swigamajig’s drink selection does not disappoint either. With an array of finely crafted cocktails and local craft beers, the bar complements the seafood dishes with the perfect libations.
With so many tempting choices I went to grab a classic fish sandwich and a big refreshing Funky Buddha blonde ale draft.
